The Daily Quest: Looking sharp

WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.

Patch 4.2 is looking pretty sharp -- I don't know about everyone else out there, but I think this is, hands down, the smoothest release of a major content patch that I've ever seen. And what a patch it is. The new quest chains are fun for the moment, dailies don't look like they are going to get boring for me any time soon, and Firelands is very pretty, if full of all kinds of red.

Speaking of looking sharp, today we've got a few posts from around the blogosphere regarding looking good, among other things.

The Daily Quest: Altoholic

WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.

Last week, I bought a Winged Guardian for my main account because the lure of the fluffy glowing kitty was too great to resist. After claiming it on my main, I began the process of logging on to my alts and claiming the kitty, character by character. That's when I logged on to a rogue I hadn't played since just after BWL came out in patch 1.6.0.

It was like opening a time capsule. The character (a twink at the time) was decked out with two blue weapons, both enchanted with Fiery Weapon. She was loaded up with Flash Powder and Blinding Powder, neither of which do anything anymore -- but they brought a smile to my face, regardless.

The Daily Quest: Tweet tweet

WoW Insider's on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative, and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere.

I love Twitter. It's an innovative form of social media in which you can fill people in on what's going on in your life. It's an easy way for me to keep tabs on my friends and coworkers, follow the latest baseball game if I don't happen to be near a television, and it puts me in closer contact with the rest of the WoW community. Plus, I get to watch Michael Sacco confess his undying love for Claussen pickles in real time. What's not to love?

I asked folks on Twitter for links to blog posts they enjoyed, and they followed through. Now you can enjoy them too! No pickles required.

Is there a story out there we ought to link or a blog we should be following? Just leave us a comment, and you may see it here tomorrow! Be sure to check out our WoW Resources Guide for more WoW-related sites.
